Terms of use for participation in HelloBetter online therapy programmes.
HelloBetter is a brand of GET.ON Institut für Online Gesundheitstrainings GmbH.
The online therapy programme you have selected is subject to the following Terms of Use. The use of HelloBetter online therapy programmes is, to the extent permitted by law, at your own risk.
For serious mental health problems, it is advisable to consult a psychological psychotherapist or appropriate medical specialist. In acute crises, you can find a list of addresses from the German Depression Aid Foundation here: https://www.deutsche-depressionshilfe.de. In this context, we would also like to refer you to the telephone counselling service number: 0800 111 0 111.
If side effects occur in connection with the use of the HelloBetter online therapy programmes, participants are asked to report these immediately to their GP or psychotherapist or to contact support@hellobetter.de by email.
User behaviour
HelloBetter reserves the right to temporarily or permanently block participants who misuse our platform. We consider the following to be misuse:
- the use of our online therapy programmes outside the specifications of the instructions for use or any other use that endangers participants
- derogatory comments (e.g. racism, sexism and comments that fall under the Criminal Code, such as insults) disseminated via our platform and communication channels,
- behaviour that endangers the security of our platform, connected systems and employees, and
- the disclosure of access data or other making available of the online therapy programmes to third parties
The content offered in the online therapy programmes may only be used by the user for their own purposes. Downloading outside of the method offered by HelloBetter is not permitted, regardless of the purpose. If content is offered for download, downloading is only permitted in accordance with these terms of use. The downloaded content may not be copied or passed on to third parties.
Copyright
The right to download does not imply any transfer or further granting of copyrights. Content intended for download is always marked as such. References and links to third-party websites do not mean that HelloBetter endorses the content behind the reference or link. The content does not constitute any responsibility on the part of HelloBetter for the data and information provided there. HelloBetter is therefore not liable for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and for damage caused by the use of content behind the link.
Changes
HelloBetter reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use and adapt them to technical and legal developments. The user will be notified separately of any changes. If individual provisions of these Terms of Use are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
Online dispute resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for out-of-court online dispute resolution (ODR platform), which can be accessed at www.ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr . We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in the dispute resolution procedure.
